The first restaurant was opened in 1995, serving the traditional taste of Uoi’s Unagi ever since. The restaurant serves not only Unajyu (traditional bowls), but also specialty dishes such as the Shirayaki (plain grilled eel) to match your favorite sake, side dishes such as the Umaki (Japanese style omelette wrapped eel )and other courses. We also have whale meat cuisines which are hard to find these days. Meals are served at tables and private rooms on the second floor which can be seated from two. Dinner meetings or parties can also be arranged.

Tengo StoreStore Locations

The second restaurant is located in Tengo, Osaka. The restaurant serves not only Unajyu (traditional bowls), but also specialty dishes such as the Uazaku (marinated eel and cucumbers), Kimoyaki (grilled eel liver) , Umaki (Japanese style omelette wrapped eel ) and other dishes to match your favorite sake. We also have a take-out booth with a giant eel sign for customers who would like to enjoy our Unagi at home.

Hanshin Umeda

The third restaurant has opened in Hanshin Department Store Umeda, the restaurant floor on the floor 9. At this new location, Uoi would become a more familiar presence for all the Uoi customers. The restaurant is easily accessible by public transport. The restaurant serves not only Unajyu (traditional Bowls) and Hitsumamushi (broiled eel on rice) but also has Hanshin specialty Donburi (rice bowl) and more Ala Carte Menu of eel.
